We are excited to announce that the highly anticipated Meet the Buyer 2025 event will take place at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn on March 27th and 28th, 2025. This flagship event provides an exceptional platform for tourism businesses in Northern Ireland to connect with a pre-qualified group of international buyers from key markets across the globe. 


Building on the success of the 2024 event, the 2025 edition will once again be held over 1.5 days, ensuring that participating tourism businesses will have more face-to-face appointments with key buyers than ever before. Around 200 targeted international tour operators from 16 key global markets come into the region to meet and do business with key representatives from the local tourism industry.

One of the most notable features of the 2024 event was the extra half-day dedicated to additional buyer appointments, a move that received a warm reception from international tour operators. Due to high demand, this extended appointment schedule will remain in place for 2025, offering tourism businesses a unique opportunity to meet with even more potential partners and expand their international reach. Over the course of the 2-day event, approximately 5000 sales meetings will take place to further position Northern Ireland as a first-class tourism destination around the globe.

Who Should Attend?
Meet the Buyer 2025 is designed for market-ready tourism businesses based in Northern Ireland who meet the following criteria:
•    Ability to offer net negotiated or commissionable trade rates.
•    Capacity to contract with tour operators.
•    Sufficient resources to accommodate tour groups and pre-booked FIT (Fully Independent Traveller) business.
•    A strong focus on international markets, with existing plans for development in these areas.
•    Experience in B2B workshops, having attended at least one such event in the last three years, such as Meet the Buyer, the Coach and Group Workshop, or ITOA.
Additionally, preference will be given to experience providers who are participants in the Embrace a Giant Spirit Experience Portfolio, as well as businesses that meet the other criteria mentioned above.
