The countdown is on for one of Northern Ireland's premier young stock events as the Elanco AHV 23rd Northern Ireland Multi Breed Calf Show returns to the Logan Hall at the Eikon Exhibition Centre on Saturday 22nd August 2026.
A firm favourite in the agricultural calendar, the show brings together young livestock enthusiasts, breeders and exhibitors from across Northern Ireland for a day dedicated to showcasing outstanding cattle, developing showmanship skills and celebrating the future of the dairy industry.
Building on the success of last year's event, which attracted almost 200 calves and more than 50 young handlers, the 2026 show promises another exciting day of competition, education and camaraderie. The event has become one of the flagship youth livestock competitions in Northern Ireland, providing young people with an invaluable opportunity to gain experience in the show ring, build confidence and forge lifelong friendships within the agricultural community.
What's New for 2026?
This year's programme will feature a comprehensive schedule of Multi Breed Calf Classes and Showmanship Classes, showcasing the highest standards of calf presentation and stockmanship.
New for 2026 is the introduction of Any Other Dairy Breed Classes, providing even more opportunities for exhibitors to compete and highlighting the diversity and quality of dairy breeding across Northern Ireland.
