About Us

The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, originally established as the North East Agricultural Association of Ireland, is a registered charity that has been at the forefront of the agricultural industry and rural life in Northern Ireland for the past 170 years.

The Society’s charitable objectives are to improve the quality of agricultural enterprises across Northern Ireland by sharing best practice through agricultural shows and exhibitions. The Society also aims to support the promotion of Industries, Art, Science and Literature where possible.

In order to support the Society’s charitable objectives, the Eikon Exhibition Centre which is owned by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, is available to hire for exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, sporting events and much more. The venue is Northern Ireland’s largest events campus and features over 10,600sqm of adaptable indoor events space, 4000 free car parking spaces, state of the art facilities and an exceptional grade 1 international standard grass arena, all set within a private 55-acre site.

In support of the Society’s charitable objectives three large scale events aimed at those with an interest in agriculture and rural life are held annually at the Eikon Exhibition Centre: -

Throughout the year, the Eikon Exhibition Centre is the venue of choice for many independent event organisers. These commercial events encompass an array of interests and industry genres and are supported by a dedicated in-house events team .
