ABP Angus Youth Challenge Returns to Logan Hall this October
The much-anticipated ABP Angus Youth Challenge is set to make its return to the Logan Hall at the Eikon Exhibition Centre on Thursday, 23rd October. We are delighted that the event will once again be staged at the venue, providing the perfect setting to showcase the achievements of the next generation of agri-food leaders.
The ABP Angus Youth Challenge is a unique, year-long skills development programme designed to inspire young people with an interest in farming, food production, and agri-business. Teams of teenagers from across Northern Ireland compete in the initiative, taking part in practical farming tasks, research projects, and presentations. Each group is also given the opportunity to rear their own Angus calves through to beef, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the beef supply chain.
The event on the 23rd October will mark the culmination of the 2024/25 programme, with the overall winners being officially announced. The winning team will not only earn the prestigious title of ABP Angus Youth Challenge Champions but also benefit from career-enhancing opportunities and industry recognition.
The finals promise to be an inspiring day, celebrating innovation, teamwork, and the bright future of Northern Ireland’s agri-food sector.
