The Eikon Exhibition Centre is delighted to welcome back the An Chomhdháil Ulster Irish Dancing Championships from 24–30 October 2026, bringing a week of Irish dancing, competition and cultural celebration to Lisburn.
The Eikon Exhibition Centre will once again provide the stage for the renowned An Chomhdháil Ulster Irish Dancing Championships this October, welcoming talented Irish dancers, teachers, families and supporters to the venue for a week celebrating one of Ireland’s most treasured cultural traditions.
Taking place across the Eikon and Logan Halls from 24th – 30th October, the championships will showcase the skill, dedication and artistry of Irish dancing, as competitors take to the stage to demonstrate their technique, precision and passion while competing for championship honours.
Organised by An Chomhdháil, the championships bring together the Irish dancing community for an exciting programme of performances, combining intricate footwork, energetic routines and the unmistakable rhythm of traditional Irish dance. The event celebrates not only the talent and commitment of the dancers but also the teachers, dance schools and families who play an important role in nurturing the next generation of performers.
Visitors can look forward to a lively atmosphere throughout the week, with friendly competition and a shared appreciation for Irish dance and culture at the heart of the event.
The return of the championships further highlights the Eikon Exhibition Centre’s role in hosting a diverse calendar of events, welcoming audiences and participants from across Northern Ireland and beyond.
