The Eikon Exhibition Centre celebrated a major milestone this year — its 10-year anniversary — in the most heart-warming way possible, by sponsoring the Visitor Prize Draw at Northern Ireland’s largest agricultural event, the Balmoral Show.
Hundreds of excited attendees stopped by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) Membership stand to take part in the giveaway. The entry process was simple: answer one easy question — “Who organises the Balmoral Show?” — and entrants were in with a chance to win a battery-operated John Deere toy tractor. (Correct answer: The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society!)
After a flurry of entries, one lucky winner was selected. With a helping hand from a proud mum and dad, Dan came to collect his shiny new ride at the Eikon Centre — and once he hopped on the John Deere tractor, there was no turning back. Following a confident test drive, Dan headed straight for the family car, eager to load up and take his prize home.
Located at Balmoral Park, Lisburn, the Eikon Exhibition Centre is proudly operated by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, who are also the organisers behind the Balmoral Show. While the venue hosts a wide and varied programme of events throughout the year, the Balmoral Show remains its flagship event, taking over the entire 55-acre site and drawing thousands of visitors annually.
