As the Eikon Exhibition Centre celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, we’re reflecting with pride on a decade of growth, events, and community engagement. From hosting world-class exhibitions and welcoming thousands of visitors each year, the Eikon has become a landmark venue.
As part of our 10-year celebrations, we’re delighted to strengthen our connection with the local area — particularly by supporting some of the fantastic sporting clubs located close to our venue.
One such club is Lower Maze Football Club (The Mills), a cornerstone of local sport and community spirit. Founded in 1960, Lower Maze FC has been a proud representative of grassroots football in County Down for over six decades. The club’s dedication to developing young talent and promoting teamwork, discipline, and respect has made it an esteemed name in the local football scene.
Building on the success of the Mid Ulster League - Intermediate B Championships title win in 2024/25; the team continues to go from strength to strength — and we’re thrilled to support them as they look to defend their title this year.
To mark our milestone anniversary, the Eikon Exhibition Centre is proud to sponsor the club’s away strip, reinforcing our commitment to backing local sport and celebrating community success. Seeing the team wear the Eikon name on their shirts is a true honour and a symbol of partnership between the venue and our neighbours.
